Corau'n Canu Gwerin - Welsh Choirs Sing Folk

Two great Welsh traditions have been brought together on this recording – the Male Choir tradition on the one hand, and the wealth of traditional folk songs on the other. The Male Choirs of Wales are among our nation’s most famous features, and although they flourished with the growth of the coal, slate and iron industry the tradition has survived despite the decline of these industries.
